🔄 Order Cancellation & Refund Policy
This policy outlines the steps and conditions for canceling an order placed on techtrendz.in and the process for receiving a refund.
1. Order Cancellation
We understand that circumstances change. You have two windows for cancellation depending on the order status:
A. Pre-Shipment Cancellation (Recommended)
Eligibility: You can request to cancel your order without any penalty any time before it is dispatched from our warehouse.
How to Cancel: Please contact our Customer Support team immediately via email or phone, referencing your Order Number.
Refund: If the order is successfully canceled before shipment, the full amount will be refunded to your original payment method (See Refund Process below).
B. Post-Shipment Cancellation / Refusal of Delivery
Eligibility: If the order has already been shipped (you have received a tracking ID), it cannot be canceled. You will need to treat it as a return.
Procedure: If you still wish to cancel, you may refuse the delivery when the courier arrives.
Deductions: Your refund will be processed after the product returns to our warehouse, and a deduction may be applied for the two-way shipping and handling charges.
2. Refund Process
Once a cancellation (pre-shipment) or a return (post-shipment) is approved, we initiate the refund process immediately.
Key Points on Refunds:
Original Payment Method: All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the purchase (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, etc.).
COD Orders: For orders paid via Cash on Delivery (COD), the refund will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT). You will be required to provide your bank account details for this process.
Timeframe: While we initiate the refund quickly, the time it takes for the funds to reflect in your account is dependent on your bank or payment provider. Please allow the full 5-7 business days.
3. Non-Refundable Items (Exclusions)
The following items are generally not eligible for return, cancellation, or refund unless they are defective upon receipt:
Digital products or software licenses.
Items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page.
Any product that has been opened, used, or customized (unless faulty).
